We are delighted to announce a significant investment in further bolstering our senior management line-up with the appointment of three Non-Executive Directors (NED’s) or Goodstuff Gurus as we prefer to call them.
As our agency grows, we want to ensure that we receive the best external advice and counsel to ensure our offering remains modern, progressive, in tune with clients marketing requirements and importantly, as we grow, to ensure we don’t forget who we are or where we’ve come from. To this end, we are creating our first formal group of external advisors we are calling our Goodstuff Gurus to advise on three core areas: business, culture and brand.
Nick has been an informal advisor to Goodstuff since 2008. He has helped guide us from a pure planning offering in 2011 to a full-service planning and buying agency in 2012 and crucially through our buy-out from Omnicom in 2017. Nick’s primary role is to advise and on our future business strategy.
Helen has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, helping creative companies ranging from Innocent and Tails.com grow their businesses by developing culture and talent programmes to help retain and attract the best talent alongside ensuring our culture evolves but stays true to our values and beliefs. Helen’s primary role is to advise on a modern, inclusive and unique creative culture.
Sonia has over 16 years experience in digital, brand and marketing, working mostly for media owners, and so brings a wealth of relevant experience. Importantly, Sonia was one of our clients for 3 years before we moved into media buying and therefore knows where we started and what we wanted to become. Sonia is now Marketing Director at the Guardian – one of the most progressive publishing brands in the world. Sonia’s primary role is to help with our brand positioning and agency marketing.
Ben Hayes, our Co-Founder said: “As we continue to build brand Goodstuff we need the best people around us to challenge, inspire and counsel us. Never in a million years did we think the likes of Nick Horswell, Helen Hatton and Sonia Sudhakar would join us but they have and we’re very excited about the next chapter.”
Nick Horswell, said: “I’m delighted to join the team more formally now, and advise the business through this next very exciting phase”
Helen Hatton, said: “I’ve been working with the amazing team at Goodstuff for a few years now and am delighted to be joining Nick and Sonia as NEDs. I look forward to supporting the leadership team in taking the business from strength to strength.”
Sonia Sudhakar, said: “Having been a champion of Goodstuff’s work for many years now, I’m delighted to be joining them in this capacity and look forward to helping the team build and grow that Goodstuff magic.”
